Follow EVENT PARKING SIGNAGE for available parking.
The lot in front may not always be available.

We recommend arriving early to ensure a spot on the tour. Hand sanitizer and a mask if needed, will be provided, and you will be required to register your contact details upon arrival. Please bring your own pen. Washrooms will be open for your convenience.
We will be meeting at our usual location at the Henry Esson Young Building (HEY) which is located approximately in the centre of the Riverview grounds. For those unfamiliar, here are some directions.
- Enter Riverview at either the Colony Farm Road traffic light or Holly Drive off the Lougheed Hwy in between the two new buildings.
- Follow Holly Drive through the grounds until reaching Oak Crescent, then turn uphill and then turn right on Kalmia Drive which is where the HEY building and start of the tour is located.

Directions:

We are unable to get a Parking Location Guaranteed so please check signage on site for alloted Parking;

  • Enter the site at the Colony Farm Road traffic light.
  • MEET at the Henry Esson Young Building (HEY)
  • Take Holly Drive through the hospital grounds, then go uphill
    on Oak Crescent,and the H.E.Y. building is on your right on Kalmia Drive.
  • Find parking where permited, follow event parking signage,
  • Meet at the front door.

Information:

  • We go Rain or Shine
  • Tours/Walks are led by a volunteer arborist, or RHCS member.
  • All Tours/Walks finish ‘within’ 2 hours.
  • Children are always welcome.
  • Dogs must be on ‘leash’.
  • Dress for the weather & wear comfy shoes or boots.
  • On-site PARKING.
  • Walks & Tours are open to the Public & are FREE;
  • You are Invited to Join the society;
  • or make a tax-deductible Donation if you wish.

The public is welcome to visit the arboretum during daylight hours.

Parking has become quite RESTRICTED
so do not park where signage indicates NO parking.
